AJ's Custom Body and Paint has been restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition for over 43 years. Collision and Auto Body Repair

Collision damage affects more than what you can see. Modern vehicles are engineered with crumple zones, high-strength steel, aluminum panels, and advanced safety systems that require precise repair procedures to function correctly after an accident. A repair that looks good on the surface but is not structurally correct puts you and your passengers at risk.

Our I-CAR certified technicians follow manufacturer-approved repair procedures for every vehicle we work on. We repair all makes and models including domestic and import vehicles, trucks, and SUVs.

What to expect: When you bring your vehicle in, we perform a thorough inspection and document all visible damage. Once repairs begin and the vehicle is disassembled, we check for any additional hidden damage and communicate anything we find before proceeding. You receive a complete, quality repair and a clean vehicle when you pick up.

Frame and Structural Repair

Structural damage is among the most critical repairs in collision work. Your vehicle's frame or unibody is the foundation for everything — safety systems, suspension geometry, door alignment, and crash protection all depend on the structure being correct.

AJ's performs frame and unibody straightening and repair using proper measuring and correction equipment. Our technicians are trained on structural repair procedures for modern vehicles including those with advanced high-strength steel and aluminum construction.

Every structural repair at AJ's is covered under our Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in our workmanship.

Signs your vehicle may have structural damage:

Doors or trunk that do not open, close, or seal properly after an accident

Paint and Refinishing

A quality paint job is one of the most visible measures of a collision repair. At AJ's, we use advanced digital color matching technology and premium BASF refinishing products to ensure your paint matches your vehicle perfectly — not just close enough.

Our paint process:

Digital Color Matching We use a COLORTRONIC color matching camera that analyzes the exact paint on your vehicle. The data is processed through BASF software and compared against a comprehensive color database to create a custom-matched formula for your specific vehicle. This technology accounts for the natural variation in paint color that occurs as vehicles age, resulting in a match that is far more accurate than mixing from a color code alone.

Surface Preparation Proper surface preparation is what separates a paint job that lasts from one that fails. We properly clean, sand, and prime all surfaces before paint is applied. Rust, contamination, and improper prep are the most common causes of paint failure — we do not skip these steps.

Refinishing We use BASF refinishing products, a premium automotive paint system used by top collision repair facilities. All paint work is performed in a controlled environment to ensure a clean, even finish.

Inspection Every painted surface is inspected before the vehicle moves to final assembly. We check for color match, texture, coverage, and finish quality.

Our paint work is covered under our Limited Lifetime Warranty against cracking, peeling, blistering, and excessive fading caused by defects in our workmanship.

Mechanical Repair Related to Collision Damage

Accidents frequently cause mechanical damage in addition to body damage. Suspension components, steering components, cooling systems, and other mechanical systems can be damaged in a collision even when the visible body damage appears minor.

AJ's performs mechanical repairs directly related to collision damage as part of the overall repair process. This includes:

Suspension component repair and replacement
Steering component repair and replacement
Cooling system repair related to front-end damage
Other mechanical systems affected by the collision

Mechanical repairs performed as part of your collision repair are covered under our Limited Lifetime Warranty for defects in our workmanship.

Note: We focus on collision-related mechanical repairs. For routine maintenance, engine repair, and non-collision mechanical work, we recommend a qualified mechanical shop.

Towing Services

AJ's operates its own towing service for cars, motorcycles, SUVs, and light trucks. Whether your vehicle is not driveable after an accident or you need it transported for any reason, we can handle the pickup and delivery.

We offer:

Accident recovery towing in the Price area and surrounding communities
Vehicle pickup for repair drop-off
Vehicle return delivery after repairs are complete

Offroad Recovery

AJ's is the only towing and recovery service in the central Utah area that specializes in offroad vehicle recovery. We serve customers throughout the rugged terrain of central and southeastern Utah — an area known for challenging offroad conditions, canyon roads, and remote locations.

Offroad recovery situations vary widely. What starts as a simple winch-out can become a complex multi-step operation depending on terrain, vehicle condition, and access. We evaluate every recovery situation individually and are honest with you about what is involved before we commit.

We handle:

Vehicle recovery from offroad terrain, trails, and remote locations
Canyon and embankment recoveries
Recovery of stuck, rolled, or inaccessible vehicles in the central and southeastern Utah region

We do not handle:

Heavy recovery operations (semi-trucks, heavy equipment)

Rental Vehicles

When your vehicle is in for repair, you should not be left without transportation. AJ's owns and operates its own fleet of rental cars and SUVs available to customers during their repair. This is a service we provide because third-party rental options near Price are limited.

Rental availability is subject to fleet availability at the time of your repair. Ask about rental options when you schedule your drop-off. If your insurance policy includes rental reimbursement, we work directly with your insurer on billing.

Our Warranty

Every collision repair performed at AJ's Custom Body and Paint is backed by our Limited Lifetime Warranty on workmanship and materials for the original vehicle owner. This covers paint and refinishing, body and structural repairs, and collision-related mechanical repairs against defects in our work for as long as you own the vehicle.
